Tasos Taverna is since 1992 an understanding at Laganas Beach. The family, 3 brothers with their father and mother, started in 1992 first “Tasos Beachbar” with their studios in the back and 2 years later they opened next door the Taverna with also studios in the back. Since that day many people are returning from whole Europe every year.
The Taverna is located at the island`s popular tourist resort of Laganas in Zakynthos.  The location is ideal, as it has the unbeatable Laganas night life just a breath away.
It is the ideal place to combine good food, sea, relaxation and entertainment.  It offers exquisite flavours in a warm and hospitality environment.
All our dishes are cooked with virgin ingredients, something easily noticeable due to the pureness of the flavours.
From early in the morning, until late at night, we look forward to welcoming you for food or drink and promise you a gastronomic journey to the home of traditional Zakynthian flavours.
We also do weddings, birthdays and  christening parties.

Our staff is always (child-) friendly, keen to serve our customers with a friendly smile and first class service.
Our staff is also serving the people who stay in the daytime at our sun beds down on the beach.
So you have the feeling you are really on holiday.
For regular local customers and those who are visiting Zakynthos,  Lagana is a famous tourist destination, attracting thousands of holidaymakers from all over the world.
Traditional Greek nights are often organized, with live music, local songs (cantades) and traditional dancing.  The merriment is inexhaustible.

Next door for the Taverna we also have a beach bar. In the beach bar we serve food from the morning till night time. We have a different range of breakfast, toast, pizza’s, burgers etc.
At the cocktails bar we show all kind of sports games on big screens where you can enjoy during the game a nice cocktail or different kind of (non) alcoholic beverages.

The view from Bistro “Tasos Taverna” is unique, a panoramic scene with endless beach of Laganas stretching across the gulf of the same name.
Laganas beach is not only famous for its length (six kilometres) but due to the Caretta-caretta loggerhead turtles, that choose to lay their eggs here every summer.
For this reason, the bay of Laganas is protected by the National Marine Park of Zakynthos.
The area is spacious, and has as a background the beautiful sandy beach.
It is the ideal choice for combining a spell of sunbathing while relaxing on the sunbeds just in front of the Taverna, with your chosen meal or drink from the Tasos’ Beachbar.
